There is no better time to explore the Gloucester-based Cape Ann Museum. Rich in maritime history and culture, the museum, which has been in existence since the 1870s and spans 44,000 square feet, works to preserve and celebrate the area’s history and keep it relevant to today’s audiences. Here are five ways to see art this season, beginning with a free art festival on Saturday, May 13.
