Health Quarters has announced Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey and former Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley as this year’s honorees at their fourth annual signature event, Celebrating Remarkable Women, to be held on April 7, 2016 from 5-7:30 p.m. at Spinelli’s Function Facility in Lynnfield.
“We are delighted to honor and thank these remarkable women for their work to protect and promote women’s access to publicly funded sexual and reproductive health services and accurate, comprehensive health information and education in Massachusetts ” says Health Quarters’ Executive Director, Gabrielle Ross. “Access to these services gives women greater economic and social freedom and is central to their dignity and the preservation of their basic civil and human rights.”
Celebrating Remarkable Women is open to the public; tickets are $50 each, $25 with student discount. Individual and corporate sponsorship opportunities are available. All proceeds benefit Health Quarters’ quality reproductive and sexual healthcare clinics in Lawrence, Haverhill and Beverly, Massachusetts.
