Clay’s caters to women who want to have fun shopping while with specialized service. Store manager Marcia Lyon describes the clothes as “classic New England look but sassy [with] New York flair.”

Customer service is a top priority to the staff at Clay’s. The staff is inclusive, friendly, helpful, and professional. Regular customers describe it as a special place, where they receive personalized attention. Staff are educated about all matters fashion related—from styles to trends to body types. They are known for learning customers’ styles in order to select and create outfits for customers, much as a personal shopper would do. Making connections and building relationships—that is what the folks at Clay’s are all about.
