Saturday, April 2, 2016 marks the 30th year that Montserrat College of Art will host its annual Artrageous Auction Party. This unforgettable evening celebrating art and creativity will take place in an edgy industrial space located at 11 Dory Road in Gloucester.

Artrageous!30 has become the signature spring event on the North Shore. Last year’s event sold out, drawing more than 1,000 guests to benefit financial aid awards for deserving Montserrat students. The night offers guests the opportunity to watch and experience art being created “in-the-moment” by Montserrat’s accomplished students. There will be more than 200 exceptional quality works available including paintings, drawings, prints, and more in the live and silent auction generously donated by members of the Montserrat community and other renowned and emerging artists. The evening will also feature innovative cocktails, delicious food by Timothy Hopkins Catering, music spun by DJ Denise and, most importantly, the ability to make a difference by directly supporting the next generation of creative talent.

This year’s honorary chairs are Lee and Liz Dellicker of Manchester by-the-Sea. As owner, president, and CEO of Windover Construction, one of the largest North Shore development/construction companies, Lee has been a dynamic force in transforming the region through building and renovating iconic structures. During his exemplary tenure as Montserrat’s Chairman of the Board he was equally instrumental in the college’s turnaround. Under his leadership the finances were substantially strengthened through building enrollment and increased fundraising. He built the new Student Village residence hall which has been instrumental in improving the face of the campus and the student experience.

A committed community volunteer, Liz has brought exciting ideas and energy to Montserrat. As co-chair of Artrageous!, she has been a source of creative planning and a driving force in the “extreme makeover” of the auction. Her leadership is credited with the auction becoming the highly successful and engaging evening it has become.
