Northshore magazine introduces its Interactive Culinary Series

 

Looking to cultivate your cooking skills—and have a fun time while doing it? Northshore magazine is partnering with Taste Buds Kitchen of North Andover for a delicious culinary series for those who love to cook or would like to learn. These tasty events will take place the first Thursday of every month for an intimate group. Cork Stop of North Andover will be offering wine pairings with each dinner. Tickets are limited.

 

November 3rd // The French Countryside // GET TICKETS

Everyone knows that french cooking is all about layering flavors and textures.  We’ll embark on our journey by preparing a hearty Pork Provencal.  From there we’ll whip up a classic french take on the humble potato using plenty of our favorite ingredient – butter!   We’ll finish our french repas with a very fancy crepe with lemon, ricotta and berry coulis. 

 

December 1st // Pasta Twist // GET TICKETS

Pasta, Pasta, Pasta! Do you know how to make fresh pasta by hand?  Join us as we create our signature pasta dough with and an oh-so-cool twist.  Learn the tips and tricks to becoming a pasta aficionado as we master kneading, rolling and shaping pasta like the pros into fresh Spaghetti and hand-rolled Garganelli.  And no pasta is complete without the sauce, so we’re whipping up a zesty nut-free Pesto and Alfredo duo to dazzle our handmade pasta creations. 

 

January 5th // A Taste of Italy // GET TICKETS

You don’t have to fly across the globe to get the fresh taste of homemade Italian cuisine. With a fresh and vibrant menu, we will take you on a delicious tour of home-made Italian favorites. We’ve collected the country’s best staples and will teach you the basics to make a decadent wild mushroom & truffle oil risotto, perfectly sweet cannoli rolls and more.

Everyone knows the Big Apple turns out some of the best pizza around. So how ‘bout a challenge? Here’s to YOU becoming the next pizza king of the city! Join our class to learn the secret tricks behind making a killer, one-of-a-kind crust and then delve into the history behind some of the most popular pies at the top of Gotham’s list. You’ll also pick up a few bonus skills as we pair our pizza with a delicious caprese salad, drizzled with a home-made balsamic reduction that will put any pizza joint to shame.
