Amesbury High School Golf Team Accepts the 2016 Byron Bowl

Amesbury High School golf team members James Tagliente and Lowell Deschenes accepted the 2016 “Byron Bowl” from Former Mayor Byron Matthews, along with a check for $500 to the Amesbury High School Athletic Department. Tagliente and Deschenes won the “High School Challenge” sponsored by SPS New England, Inc. during the 26 annual Anna Jaques Hospital “Fore Your Health” Golf Tournament on August 15 at Renaissance Golf Club.

Amesbury competed against players from Ipswich, Hamilton-Wenham, Masconomet, Newburyport, and Triton.
