Cruiseport Gloucester Bridal Expo, presented by the Beauport Hospitality Group

Gloucester, 978-282-9700 (ext. 1), cruiseportgloucester.com

Trend: One and done. More and more engaged couples are using the expo to secure the majority of their vendors, from cuisine to cake to live entertainment, says Heather Forrest, senior event manager. As an added incentive for being decisive, a lot of vendors will have special deals if you book that day.

Standout Qualities: More than 70 vendors are set up throughout the function space at Cruiseport Gloucester and on Beauport Cruiselines, docked just outside, and a free shuttle will bring guests a mile up the road to the Beauport Hotel for a personal tour, so couples can shop for a venue as well.

What’s Unique: A drawing on-site for a free honeymoon.
