What started out as a way to elevate the tiki drinks on offer in most Chinese restaurants has become a national phenomenon. When Ran Duan took over behind the bar at his parents’ restaurant, Szechuan Garden II, he started stacking up awards, including one from GQ magazine for most imaginative bartender. Sure, Duan and his team can mix up a killer classic mai tai, but we’d recommend letting them create something more imaginative. Trust them—they can create the drink of your dreams, served up in vintage barware.
