Early in his career Ricardo Sanchez cooked for one of Manhattan’s premier catering companies—Peter Callahan Catering. With Peter Callahan, he found his niche cooking for high-profile and celebrity clients. In addition, he found opportunities to engage in food styling, appearing in magazines such as Martha Stewart Weddings, Modern Bride, Gourmet, and Bon Appetit. For a time, the gardening ambitions of his youth led him to be a private chef and farmer in the Pennsylvania countryside. Today, Sanchez lives in Salem, where he continues to cook with finesse and draw inspiration from his gardening roots, and create beautiful dinner parties for his clients and their guests—this is his third BONS award.
