Originating in Cambridge as The Tennis and Squash Shop in 1927, this Route 1A classic has been outfitting the North Shore with sports equipment since the late 1970s. If your racket is more Agassi than Serena, this is the place to get you back in action. There are plenty of brands to choose from. But if that’s too much choice, the demo program allows players to choose the racket to fit their playing style. Three rackets can be tried out for three days. The shop also prides itself on its restringing, using high-quality machines that offer consistency. Then, there are the clothes.
