North Shore Cancer Walk

Every year thousands of supporters come together to walk more than six miles and raise funds to help the Mass General/North Shore Cancer Center fund important cancer services, from genetic counseling to palliative services. Though the COVID-19 pandemic has made the walk a virtual event for the past two summers, the spirit remains, as veteran walkers pitch in to keep these valuable services funded even in these unprecedented times.

Step Up for Colleen
Andover
This annual 5K walk/run raises money for the Colleen E. Ritzer Memorial Scholarship Fund for aspiring teachers, in memory of the Andover native and Danvers High School teacher. The event has a celebratory spirit, honoring Ritzer’s passion for teaching and the good she did in the world.
