Runners and spectators are invited to celebrate the 122nd annual Boston Marathon with dining deals across The Hub. Boston’s top chefs are dishing up carbo-loading pasta specials and protein-packed dishes to fuel up for race day.

Chef Nick Dixon invites runners (and hungry spectators) to carbo-load for the big day with bottomless pasta specials at Capo. Fuel up for the big day on Saturday, April 14 and Sunday April 15 with your choice of four bottomless pasta specials, ranging from $16 – $23/per person. Capo’s lineup of fresh pasta specials includes their signature rigatoni bolognese with classic meat ragu and spaghetti & meatballs which can also be served family styles for groups of any size. CHOPPS American Bar & Grill

Chopps American Bar and Grill’s Marathon Weekend Menu packs in the energy and delicious flavors for your race with mouthwatering dishes. Executive chef Stefano Zimei, an avid runner and cyclist, designed this menu to fuel runners throughout their 26.2-mile journey to the finish list. Fill up on protein with the rigatoni bolognese, featuring short ribs and tomato cream sauce, or opt for the four-cheese baked pasta made with CHOPPS’ house-made pesto. If pasta sounds like too much, Zimei suggests the lighter rice noodle dish complete with wild mushrooms, carrots, bok choy, bean sprouts, and ginger nam pla sauce. Diners who are running the big race will receive 15-percent off their food bill if they show their bib to the wait staff.

DANTE

There is no better spot to hit before the big race than Restaurant DANTE. Whether you’re fueling up for the marathon or simply love pasta, look no further than the ultimate carbo-loading destination. On Sunday, April 15, guests can fuel up with bottomless pasta from 5-8 p.m. as chef Dante de Magistris serves up selections including tomato basil (tufoli pasta, San Marzano (D.O.P.), basil, Parmigiana-Reggiano), aglio e plio (spaghetti, pine nuts, raisins), and zucchine (fusilli pasta, cherry tomatoes, pecorino romano).
