The Veronese Community Education Center at Wellspring House, home to Wellspring’s Adult Learning Initiative (ALI), has undergone a dramatic renovation.

Thanks to Windover Construction for their work and volunteer efforts, the space has been transformed from one large single classroom into a multi-room suite including a foyer, computer lab, conference room, galley kitchen, and a working office space, complete with a separate entrance.

“We are thrilled with the new space and thankful to Windover Contruction for their fine work. The new space beautifully meets Wellspring’s expanded programming needs providing small meeting spaces for students and teachers and for those working with the WERC program,” says new board chair, Julie Bishop.

Back in use on May 30, the new space now offers the ability for Wellspring’s adult education students to attend class, use computers for job searches and resume preparation, and receive career and educational counseling.

The organization plans to be up and running soon with North Shore Community College admissions to use the space for Accuplacer Placement exams.
