Windover Construction of Beverly, Massachusetts has received six PRISM awards recognizing their outstanding work in building and design from the Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Boston (BRAGB). They also won an Excellence in Construction award from the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Massachusetts Chapter (ABC). The awards celebrated their work in residential, institutional, and academic projects, as well as their community involvement.

ABC’s Excellence in Construction program recognizes outstanding construction projects based on quality, complexity, and commitment to the highest performance standards. The PRISM Awards (Prestigious Results in Sales and Marketing), honor the finest projects and outstanding achievements of builders, developers, project owners, architects, land planners, marketing/advertising firms, interior designers, remodelers, and other professionals in the home building industry.

A national panel of distinguished industry professionals awarded Windover Construction with the PRISM “Judges Award” for their work on The Lookout Tower. The Tower was constructed in 1943 by the Army Corp of Engineers as a fire control observation post for coastal defense during WWII and the current owners wanted to turn it into a guest house. Windover managed the construction that transformed this into a nautical themed tower made to feel like a land-based yacht. This project also won the Gold award for the “Best Multi/Single Family Re-Use or Conversion” category.

Windover’s Brookwood School Lower School and Dining Addition project won two awards. This project was given the Gold award for PRISM’s “Best Commercial Project” category as well as an Eagle Award for the 2015 ABC Massachusetts Chapter Excellence in Construction Awards. For this project, Windover built a new 26,000-square-foot classroom building and dining hall, completed three months ahead of schedule and under budget, all while the children were in school.

Windover’s project for the historic Cape Ann Museum, built in 1873, won the Silver award for PRISM’s “Best Commercial Projec” category. Windover managed the renovation to to the historic space including updating its galleries, reception areas and gift shop to better showcase its world-class art collection and history.

Summer Hill, a community of 12 custom homes in Manchester–by-the-Sea, won a Gold PRISM award for “Best Multi-Unit-For-Sale Community: Detached Homes”. The homes were specifically designed for aging in place and were built with energy efficient and eco-friendly materials. The neighborhood is within steps to the beach, close to local dining and shopping and bordered by nature paths.

One of Windover Construction’s cornerstones is community involvement and the company is honored to have been given the Silver award for “Community Spirit.”
