Waltham will be the 150th Ruth’s Chris Steak House and the second location in Massachusetts, the first located in Boston’s Old City Hall.

The menu not only offer these generous cuts of beef but also Chilean sea bass served with sweet potato and pineapple hash, New Orleans style barbeque shrimp, jumbo lump crab cakes and more There’s also a host of made-from-scratch sides, such as classic lobster mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole and grilled asparagus. Soups, salads, and decadent desserts, such as crème brulee and white chocolate bread pudding, all sourced from the freshest ingredients available. Ruth’s Chris’ robust bar program boasts an award-wining wine list featuring over 200 labels, a large selection of premium wines by the glass and hand-crafted cocktails.

Award-winning celebrity designer and Boston native Taniya Nayak created the fresh design, which seamlessly incorporates elements reflecting Waltham’s history while paying homage to Ruth’s Chris Steak House founder Ruth Fertel’s New Orleans heritage. Taniya’s trademark style of bringing rich textures and unexpected finishes together with practical functionality comes to life in the 292-seat restaurant with unique elements including a custom 20-foot chandelier, dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows, elegant banquets, and bold patterned carpet mixed with wood and tiled floors. The space contains a main dining room, large open bar area with lounge seating, and three private dining rooms for corporate meetings or special occasions.

The Ruth’s Chris team selected this location because of the recent influx of corporate growth in the area, the families and residents living in neighboring towns and the proximity to Boston. “We are looking forward to being part of the burgeoning Waltham community and our goal is to provide a top-notch dining experience to the corporate guests in the area, local families, and new friends,” says Ruth’s Chris Waltham general manager David Gurwicz.
