Lucia lighting & design, a North Shore-based 8,000 square-foot mansion turned showroom, has announced the expansion of its offerings to include a fresh and exciting mix of home furnishing and accessories to the company’s award-winning lighting collection.

A collaboration between company president, Lucy Dearborn, and the firm’s new creative director, renowned interior designer Eileen Patterson, has resulted in what is now a whole new option for clients. “With the classic and timeless style Eileen is known for, which can be found in the homes of discerning clients around the country, Eileen is the perfect choice to work with us on our redesign and bring to the market our distinctive new mix of stylish and wide- ranging home furnishing options,” said Lucy.

“We traveled far and wide over the past few months in an effort to offer a breadth of products that will inspire all of our clients,” continued Lucy. “Eileen and I didn’t just want a lighting showroom, or a furniture store, we wanted a true blend of two successful businesses coming together to present their vision of what an entire space could look like.”

“Lucy and I share a very similar philosophy,” states Eileen. “We both put an emphasis on client service and offering the very best products.  We both have a successful history of working with design professionals and retail clients. We both believe in offering styles and price points that have a broad appeal. It is really dream collaboration, curating accent table, rugs, pillows, accessories, and other home furnishings in an effort to offer both trade and retail clients a whole new and exciting way to create their own unique spaces.”

Both Dearborn and Patterson agree they are offering something really innovative to the market; marrying a trusted name in lighting and with a trusted name in design, and adding in what is needed to create the perfect space.

The redesigned showroom is now themed, for an easier shopping experience. The Hubbarton Forge Gallery features a new seasonal Linear LED Pendant called “Summer;” the Tracy Glover Studio showcases signature blown glass creations, and custom lighting; and a Color Kinetics Light Lab, highlights the newest LED linear technology, with a spotlight on color changing LED. Throughout the galleries and the entire showroom are vignettes featuring furnishings and accessories. All products can be purchased on the spot, or ordered.?
