Fishy Fun with Frost

Presented by: Marblehead Museum

Price: Free

Location: J.O.J. Frost Gallery, 170 Washington St., Marblehead

Date: Saturday, April 28, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

The paintings of renowned folk artist J.O.J. Frost offer a creative and insightful look into Marblehead’s history. Join us at the Marblehead Museum’s J.O.J. Frost Gallery for some fishy fun with Frost! Use Frost’s whimsical paintings as inspiration to design your own “Frost Fish”. Let your imagination run wild as you create a town scene, landscape, or colorful design on a wooden cod fish. Like Frost’s paintings, each fish will be unique and tell a personal story. Take your “Frost Fish” home as a souvenir.

Presented by Highland Street Foundation and produced by the Boch Center, ArtWeek offers new ways to experience art, culture, and creativity. This year, Mass Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism have joined ArtWeek as Lead Champions in this unique opportunity to shine a spotlight on the state’s creative economy.
