New England Brewfest Selects Life is Good as Official Charity Partner

Leading summer beer festival to raise funds at its 13th annual event.

New England Brewfest, one of the most popular annual beer festivals, announced today that The Life is Good Kids Foundation (LiGKF) will be the event’s official charity partner. New England Brewfest is produced by New Hampshire’s Western White Mountains Chamber of Commerce and will celebrate its 13th season from Friday, June 23 to Sunday, June 25.

Taking place at the foot of this scenic mountain range, New England Brewfest features three days of a unique blend of beer-infused social events, educational workshops and its signature Saturday Night: ON TAP tasting event; the weekend will feature more than 30 New England breweries. Beer aficionados, industry professionals, and travelers enjoying a weekend getaway in New England will sip and savor brand new brews and enjoy the one-of-a-kind sights of Loon Mountain.

“Our 13th annual weekend promises to be one of the biggest and best New England Brewfest events we have ever held and we are proud to partner with The LiGKF,” said Kimberly Pickering, executive director of the Western White Mountains Chamber of Commerce. “We are honored to have the opportunity to raise funds to help children all around the world from our corner of New Hampshire.”

The mission of The Life is Good Kids Foundation is to spread the power of optimism to help kids heal. They do this by partnering with leading medical, education, and enrichment programs across the United States and Haiti to help professional childcare providers build optimal environments for kids to engage, connect, and explore.

“Here at Life is Good we always love partnering with good people who are looking to grow the good in the lives of children — especially children whose lives have been deeply impacted by poverty, violence and illness,” said Steve Gross, MSW chief playmaker and founder of The Life is Good Kids Foundation. “We are grateful that so many good people up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire want to join hands with us to ensure that life is good for all kids.”
