Brides Day Out
Getting married? Check out these shows to help you plan your dream wedding!
Here come the brides. And the photographers, caterers, boutiques, DJs, and florists they and their betrothed will need to create their perfect wedding day. Over the next several weeks, events across the greater Boston area will give brides-to-be a chance to meet potential vendors, explore their services, and sample their wares.
First is the North Shore Bridal Expo on January 22. Come meet over 25 vendors and see what they have to offer for your special day! There will be raffles throughout the day, demonstrations, and more. Come see how beautiful the Fletcher Club is to host your wedding! Tickets are free; register at eventbrite.com.
On January 29, Cruiseport Gloucester's Bridal Expo 2017 will take place, bringing together over 65 vendors—the best in their industries—to make planning the perfect wedding a snap. Sample cake and fine cuisine, listen to live entertainment, and so much more at Greater Boston's best wedding expo. Tickets are $10 online at cruiseportgloucester.com and at the door.
On February 12, join the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem for its Wedding Open House and experience the charm and elegance of the historic hotel for your upcoming wedding. Mix and mingle with the hotel's preferred vendors, learn insider tips from its coordinators, and sample food and drinks during this day of wedding fun. Tickets are free for up to four people and $10 for additional guests. Register at hawthornehotel.com
New England Bridal Affair is throwing a pair of events at the Double Tree in Andover, the Holiday Inn in Tewksbury/Andover, the Haverhill Country Club, and the Crown Plaza Hotel in Boston/Newton starting February 19. Organizers promise “boutique style” and all brides are entered to win a honeymoon vacation. The complete schedule is available online.
Tickets are $10 and proceeds from the ticket sales go to Supportive Care Domestic Violence Program, an agency in Haverhill and Lawrence that provides support services to victims of domestic violence.
