North Shore CDC’s “No Place Like Home” Auction Raises $92,558

Proceeds will directly benefit local neighborhoods and residents.

Celebrating another year of investing in neighborhoods across the North Shore, the North Shore Community Development Coalition (CDC) on Dec. 14 held its 12th annual “No Place Like Home” dinner and auction, raising $92,558. Proceeds will go directly toward benefitting neighborhoods and residents served by NSCDC. The event, which included over 350 local community members and businesses took place at the Danversport Yacht Club.

The work of North Shore CDC, including the coalition’s affordable housing and community engagement initiatives, is made possible by donors and sponsors such as NEI General Contracting and the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation.

Additionally, the coalition named this year’s award recipients, without whose year-round support its 2016 impacts would not have been achieved. The 2016 award recipients are Eastern Bank, Scott Dyer, Maria Carrasco, Lynn Duncan, and Joan Amaral.
