Not Your Average Joe's Peabody Grand Opening

The restaurant is now open at the Northshore Mall

On October 10, Not Your Average Joe’s opened the doors at its newest location in Peabody, MA (210 Andover Street, Unit P127) at the Northshore Mall. The New England based restaurant concept known for its made-from-scratch dishes, affordable pricing and customer-driven service hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and reception with Peabody city officials and dignitaries including Mayor Edward Bettencourt, Councilor at Large Tom Gould, Business Liaison Julie Daigle and board member of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce Lauren Dalis.

Not Your Average Joe’s takes great pride in working with local non-profit organizations for each Grand Opening celebration to show appreciation for local communities and neighborhoods. The Peabody location partnered with Pete Frates and the Frates family (creators of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and the Frates ALS Research and Support Fund) to hold pre-opening events on Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8 where guests were encouraged to donate to the charity instead of paying a bill at the end of their meal. During the Grand Opening celebration, Not Your Average Joe’s CEO and Founder Stephen Silverstein presented a $12,000 check of funds raised during the events to Pete’s parents, Nancy and John Frates, to help in Pete and Team Frate Train’s mission to raise awareness and assist in discovering a treatment and a cure for ALS.

The new Not Your Average Joe’s in Peabody is 6500 sq. feet, can accommodate over 200 guests and boasts an outdoor patio area with a firepit and cozy blankets for a relaxing experience. There is also a full service bar with 8 TV’s where customers can kick back and enjoy an extensive variety of quality bites, craft cocktails, seasonal beers and wines. Inspired by what is fresh, healthy and seasonal, Not Your Average Joe’s just launched a new seasonal menu featuring hearty entrees, cool-weather cocktails and updated made-from-scratch favorites, including even better pizza and burger recipes which are now available at all locations through March 2017.
