Paint the Gables

A ‘paint & sip’ night with Wicked Art Bar.

Artists of all kinds have been inspired by The House of the Seven Gables, including, of course, Nathaniel Hawthorne. Those interested in joining the rarified ranks of Gable’s-inspired artists are invited to assemble on The Gables’ splendid Seaside Lawn for a paint-and-sip night with Wicked Art Bar. Participants will be donating to a worthy cause as they experience the beauty of The Gables at night and have a fun time with friends, old and new. Instruction is included.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Check in between 6 and 6:30 p.m. Instruction begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $45; $20 from each participant goes directly to the House of the Seven Gables Settlement Association.

Instruction and supplies are provided, including an apron, brushes, paints and a 16-by-20-inch canvas. Participants are encouraged to bring friends. Snacks and soft drinks are included with admission, and beer and sangria will be available for sale.
