On November 19, from 10 a.m. to noon, herbalist Hannah Sparks will lead this class on herbal skincare. Each participant will craft herb-infused oils and skin-rejuvenating salves. Attendees will go home with two one-ounce salves: calendula and comfrey-lavender. They will make wonderful gifts for the holidays and with the knowledge and recipes you learn in class, you will be able to recreate them in your own home.

Salve-making is an essential skill for anyone looking to cultivate radiant skin. The class will begin by covering the process of creating an infused oil with calendula. Hannah will also discuss common herbs for the skin that address a variety of concerns like skin soothing and skin healing, including comfrey, Llavender, plantain, calendula, and chamomile. Participants will then work together to melt and mix beeswax into herb infused oils to create the two different salves.

This class is suitable for beginners. Gather by the farmhouse fire to learn to craft personalized skin salves and herbal oils!
