From October 2 through October 4, the Boston Design Center (BDC) will be buzzing with activity for its annual Fall Design Market. The two-day design event is for anyone and everyone in the Boston area; with educational CEUs to star-studded keynote presentations to thought-provoking panel discussions to the second annual Heading Home to Dinner charity event, the Boston Design Market has something for everyone to enjoy. “Our biannual design markets are the BDC’s chances to show off the latest and greatest within the design center,” says BDC general manager Kristan McLaughlin. “This Fall, we are ushering in the new season of design with renowned designers and industry players from all around the country, hosting exciting events that will educate and inspire. And we are so proud to present the second annual Heading Home to Dinner charity event, to benefit local nonprofit Heading Home.” The market kicks off on October 2 with a keynote event on the Next Generation of Design featuring Chad Stark, Eric Chang, Phillip Bershad, Alina Wolhardt, Jaci Conry and Jodi Finer. Stick around for an Editor-at-Large LAUNCH event with Meg Touborg, a CEU with Eric Haydel, and showroom events sprinkled throughout the day. On October 3, the market continues with a keynote presentation from Amanda Lindroth about her newest book and a life of Island Hopping and a keynote discussion on achieving the perfect balance between Luxe and Livable with Lonni Paul, Robbin Gordon and Erin Gates. The Heading Home to Dinner cocktail party and New England Design Hall of Fame inductee announcement round out the second day of market. Enjoy showroom events throughout the day CEUs hosted by Waterworks and KI. The final day of fall market on October 4 begins with a W.E.L.L. Summit and reception. Keynote speaker Stacy Garcia celebrates the launch of her lifestyle brand STAY by Stacy Garcia. Showroom events and CEUs hosted by Caesarstone and Ann Sacks round out the final day of market, ending with a bang with the second annual Heading Home to Dinner charity event.
