Jean Carlson, Traci Howe, and Jodi Gildea have joined Sagan Harborside Sotheby’s International Realty. The team has deep roots in Marblehead including decades of experience in the real estate business and a lifelong commitment to the Marblehead community. The announcement coincides with the agency’s expansion plans in Marblehead with the opening of a second office in downtown Marblehead slated for later this fall.
“I am so excited to join the team at Sagan Harborside with my daughter and daughter-in-law. Along with being a real estate family, we have a great affinity for the town of Marblehead,” says Jean Carlson. For over 25 years, Jean and her husband, Richard, owned and operated Carlson Real Estate, one of New England’s premier real estate companies with 51 offices. During her career she managed both the Marblehead and Swampscott offices. She also was the director of the distinctive properties division and holds the national designations of GRI and CRB.
Traci Howe earned a BS degree in Business Administration from The University of Maine at Orono, then returned to her hometown of Marblehead and started her career in real estate. She worked at Carlson Corporate for several years, before becoming a real estate agent in the Back Bay/Boston office and ultimately returned to specialize in selling high-end properties on the North Shore. Traci is a very active volunteer in various organizations on the North Shore.
Jodi Gildea has held her real estate license for 20 years as well as serving as an advertising manager, office manager of the relocation department and an administrative office manager at Carlson Real Estate. An active member of the Marblehead community, Jodi was a travel soccer coach for both boys’ and girls’ teams as well as a running coach for “Fit Girls.”
The trio brings enthusiasm, professional experience, and commitment to helping others into every transaction they negotiate. Their long-standing knowledge of the business from being agents and growing up in “The Carlson Real Estate family” and their love of the Marblehead community have given them much joy in helping people find their perfect homes.
