Under the new ownership of Kristin Zarkades, and featuring dishes by chef Tim Caldwell and a wine selection by director Harry Zarkades, The Grapevine has a fresh new vibe going. The rich interior is simultaneously comfortable, elegant, and romantic, while an intimate outdoor courtyard is beloved for alfresco feasts. In the kitchen, chef Tim and his team render a variety of Northern Mediterranean-influenced flavors to enhance locally sourced fare, which they refer to as “slow food.” The Sopa de Pescado in a tomato-saffron broth with local cod, clams, and shrimp is one of their most kudos-deserving dishes. Ceviche specials, brined pork chops, and long-cooked bolognaise are also widely adored. A lively music program caps an already ideal dining experience.
