Restoration and Management of Stevens-Coolidge Place

The Andover Garden Club will sponsor a presentation by Laura D. Bibler and Katherine K. Macdonald on the Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover.
Bibler, who is a member of the board of the Trustees of Reservations as well as a long-time member of the Andover Garden Club, will speak on the restoration process and the decisions and challenges involved in recreating and restoring such a landscape.
Macdonald, director at The Trustees of Reservations, will speak about marketing and maintenance decisions relating to managing the estate and plans to make it more interesting and accessible to the public.
The event will begin with social time and refreshments, followed by a brief business meeting and the program. The public is encouraged to take advantage of this program. A $10 donation is requested of nonmembers.
About the Andover Garden Club
Founded in 1927, the Andover Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that encourages the study and practice of horticulture, landscape design, and floral design; aids in the beautification of the town of Andover; and helps protect and conserve natural resources. A member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc., and National Garden Clubs, Inc., the club provides both financial and hands-on support to a variety of municipal, educational, and environmental organizations throughout the region.
