DESCRIPTION:Marblehead will once again turn pink this October as the community comes together for the 2nd Annual Marblehead Turns Pink for Ellie\, a town-wide campaign benefiting the Ellie Fund. From October 2–4\, nearly 100 Marblehead shops\, restaurants and organizations will participate in a weekend of special events\, shopping\, dining and fundraising activities designed to raise awareness and support for breast cancer patients and their families. \n\n\n\nThe Ellie Fund is a Massachusetts nonprofit that provides free essential support services to breast cancer patients\, including transportation to medical appointments\, meal deliveries\, grocery assistance\, childcare reimbursement and more. These services help ease the stresses of everyday life during treatment\, allowing patients to focus on family\, recovery and healing. \n\n\n\nThis year’s Marblehead Turns Pink weekend will include:Friday\, October 2 | 2–6 p.m.Specialized Bra Fitting at Liz Steinfeld\, 59 Atlantic Ave.Specialized fittings featuring mastectomy bras from AnaOno\, along with complimentary bubbly and sweets. Guests can also enter for a chance to win an AnnaOno Lounge set. \n\n\n\nFriday–Sunday\, October 2–4Shop & Dine Pink Throughout MarbleheadNearly 100 local shops\, restaurants and organizations will go pink throughout the weekend. Residents and visitors are encouraged to look for pink decorations and Ellie Fund signs around town and support the participating local businesses and the Ellie Fund by activating the QR code on the posters. \n\n\n\nSaturday\, October 3 | 10 a.m.–3 p.m.Discover Marblehead’s 7th Annual Fall FairThe annual Fall Fair at the Lee Mansion Gardens\, 161 Washington St.\, will feature 21 artists and vendors\, beverages\, pumpkin carving and more. Visitors can stop by the pink Ellie Fund tent to meet members of the Marblehead Turns Pink team and Ellie Fund staff\, and learn more about Ellie Fund. \n\n\n\nSunday\, October 4 | 11 a.m.–3 p.m.Brunch with “Ellie” at The Landing Restaurant\, 81 Front St.The Landing will host a special brunch on Marblehead Harbor and donate 10% of food and beverage sales during the event to the Ellie Fund. \n\n\n\nNew This Year: Marblehead Turns Pink RaffleA new addition to this year’s campaign is the Marblehead Turns Pink Raffle\, featuring more than $3\,000 in gift cards\, merchandise and services\, generously donated by participating Marblehead businesses and restaurants. Raffle tickets will be available Saturday at the Fall Fair and Sunday during Brunch with “Ellie” at The Landing. Proceeds will support the Ellie Fund and its work helping breast cancer patients throughout Massachusetts. \n\n\n\nResidents can support Marblehead Turns Pink for Ellie by shopping and dining at participating businesses\, attending one of the weekend events\, purchasing raffle tickets or making a direct donation to the Ellie Fund. DESCRIPTION:Northeast Arc will host its annual Run\, Walk\, and Roll for Inclusion Sunday\, October 4\, 2026\, at Market Street Lynnfield. Because Northeast Arc is focused on inclusion\, if people don’t want to participate in the 5K run\, they are welcome to walk\, roll or simply join in the fun. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Both the 5K and the walk start at 9:00 a.m. The event also features a Family Fun Fest which will run from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and include balloon art\, bubbles\, face painting and new this year…a kids fun run.
