Keep your eyes peeled for a sneaky appearance from the Grinch! \n\n\n\n\n\n At Town Hall\, Santa will greet children aged 11 and under\, all while a live string quartet sets the holiday mood. Parents\, don’t forget to bring your cameras to capture those special moments! After their visit with Santa\, kids can enjoy face painting\, fun games\, and holiday crafts. The Rotary Club will also be serving up hot dogs\, hot cocoa\, and more in the COA cafeteria.  \n\n\n\nTickets will be available for purchase to access tasty treats\, face painting\, and crafts\, but there will also be free games to enjoy! Plus\, don’t miss the chance to win amazing prizes in our raffles\, including Christmas trees\, a brand-new iPad with an Apple Pencil\, and gift baskets from local businesses.  \n\n\n\nWe encourage everyone to bring an unwrapped toy or gift suitable for a child to support the Wellspring Cape Ann Kids Holiday Fund. Proceeds from this event will support local charities and Ipswich Interact Club projects. Ipswich Interact\, a high school leadership group inspired by the Rotary\, with the motto “Service Above Self\,” organizes this event to bring the community together and connect high schoolers with younger kids. DESCRIPTION:During this commemorative year leading up to the 250th Anniversary of the Battle of Lexington taking place on April 19\, 2025\, this American Revolution-themed high tea honoring the start of the American Revolution will feature three of the five teas that were thrown overboard during the infamous Boston Tea Party in 1773: Bohea\, Hyson and Souchong\, provided by local area J’enwey Tea Company.  \n\n\n\nBohea: One of the first teas imported by the East India Company in the 18th-century. This black tea was fired or dried over charcoal before being transported to the American colonies.  \n\n\n\nHyson: This early spring green tea is picked by April 20 annually and was a favorite of both George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. This tea was so desired by English consumers that it was taxed at a higher rate than other teas.  \n\n\n\nSouchong: This classic black tea came from the Wuyi Mountains in the Fujian province of China. It is famous for its very distinctive smoky aroma.  \n\n\n\n\n\nThe teas\, which can be served hot or iced\, are served along with sweet and savory bites including freshly baked scones\, soup\, tea sandwiches and dessert plus a glass of Schramsberg Mirabelle Sparkling Rosé or a tea cocktail. Seatings on August 3\, 2024 from 11 am to 3 pm multiple seating times) – $78/adults and $35/kids (ages 4-12) plus tax (ironic) & gratuity. Children 3 and under eat for free. For adults\, it includes a Tea Tower with bites\, J’enwey tea service and one glass of champagne.  \n\n\n\nSeatings on June 29\, 2024 from 11 am to 3 pm (multiple seating times) – $78 (plus tax & gratuity). For children (4-12 years)\, includes crowns\, swords and crafts\, bites and tea or hot chocolate – $35 (plus tax & gratuity). Children 3 and under eat for free.

DESCRIPTION:The annual St. Peter’s Fiesta returns to Gloucester from June 26 through June 30\, sponsored by the town’s Italian-American fishing community. The event features live music every night and decorations throughout downtown. Other festival highlights include a carnival\, the open air Mass on Sunday morning\, the procession of the life-sized St. Peter statue followed by a parade\, the blessing of the fishing fleet\, and the Greasy Pole contest\, in which contestants try to capture the flag at the end of a greased pole extended over the harbor.
