DESCRIPTION:The Lowell Memorial Auditorium will present The Boston Pops – Holiday Pops 2026 on Sunday\, December 20\, at 2:30 pm. Tickets go on sale on Friday\, August 7 at 10:00 am at lowellauditorium.com or by calling 1-800-657-8774.  \n\n\n\nA favorite New England tradition\, the Holiday Pops concerts were initiated by Arthur Fiedler with a three-concert series at Symphony Hall in 1973. Since that time\, as public demand for the performances has grown\, the number of performances has increased accordingly and attending a Holiday Pops concert has become an annual ritual for many families. Many of the Symphony Hall concerts sell out each year\, and the orchestra regularly tours throughout the Northeast to share the Pops’ holiday music with an even wider audience. Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops Orchestra have released three albums of holiday music: A Boston Pops Christmas—Live from Symphony Hall\, Holiday Pops\, and Sleigh Ride.
