Strongwater Farm will host a fun-filled, family friendly, Country and Western Harvest Hoedown at the farm, 500 Livingston Street in Tewksbury on Sunday, October 8 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
This afternoon-long benefit will feature live country and western music by the Jimmy Connor Band. Hoedown fans can enjoy mouthwatering Southern barbecue from Lester’s Roadside BBQ, with hayrides and games for the kids. For the adults, Ipswich Ale Brewery will be on site to provide beer and wine from the cash bar.
Jimmy Connor is New England’s own version of Hunter Hayes. He’s a talented singer-songwriter who hasn’t met an instrument he doesn’t like. This multi-instrumentalist from Boxboro, MA, was named the “Most Promising Male Vocalist of the Year,” “Instrumentalist of the Year” and “Male Entertainer of the Year” by the North America Country Music Association.
