Media Sales Executive
Do you have sales experience, great communication skills, and enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment? RMS Media Group, publishers of Ocean Home, Luxury Pools + Outdoor Living and Northshore magazines, has an opening in our Sales Department.
We are looking for an in-house, full-time, experienced Strategic Media Sales Executive to sell print, digital and event advertising for our various channels.
Responsibilities include the following:
Maintain existing business while developing a new advertising base across appropriate lifestyle categories via networking, prospecting, cold-calling and industry associations.
Embrace the consultative sales approach, be creative, self-motivated, energetic, a team player and have a strong sales background.
Develop/pitch campaigns to a large volume of active and prospective accounts across multiple categories.
Establish and build effective relationships on the client and agency side.
Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment for the territory/segment.
Proficiently update customer management relationship software database with new leads, opportunities, and sales progressions.
Maintain pipeline reports for ongoing updates on sales status and supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new services.
Network within industry and professional organizations, chambers, at trade shows and other events
