The 19-piece Compaq Big Band is BEYOND EXCITED to make a midsummer return to one of our favorite new haunts, the Backbeat Brewing Company (BBC) in Beverly, Massachusetts, on Monday July 28th. Special Guest Vocalist Anaïs Reno from New York City will again be out in front after our smashing debut with her on March 24th! Plus instrumental features from world-renowned jazz trumpeter Bijon Watson. Backbeat’s quickly become New England’s premier ‘big band hang’, featuring monthly appearances by an all-star ‘house band’ – the Backbeat Big Band (BBB), directed by well-known New England jazz trumpeter Jay Daly – along with frequent guest big band performances.
