Next Wave Event 2026

On Wednesday, October 14, join us aboard Beauport Cruiselines in Gloucester as we celebrate the rising leaders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and community builders shaping what this region becomes next.
The invitation is open to everyone. Northshore readers, residents, local professionals, founders, artists, and anyone curious about the people and ideas moving the region forward are welcome to attend.
Guests will board beginning at 6 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., the vessel will depart for a one-hour cruise around Gloucester Harbor, offering a distinctive perspective on the coast as evening settles over the water.
After returning to the dock at 7:30 p.m., the celebration will continue aboard the vessel through 9 p.m. with live music, curated hors d’oeuvres from 1606, Beauport’s Best of the North Shore-winning restaurant, and drinks available for purchase. Guests can also enjoy interactive experiences and select giveaways from our event partners.
At the center of the evening are the people behind the businesses, ideas, and cultural momentum shaping the North Shore’s future. Next Wave offers the opportunity to meet them, celebrate their work, and spend an exceptional evening on the harbor with an engaged community from across the region.
Formerly Northshore Magazine’s Top Influencers event, Next Wave carries the tradition forward with a new name and a new setting.
