The 5th Annual Best of the North Shore (BONS) Event will be held on August 22, 2018 at historic Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich, MA!
Come taste, sip, and indulge in the North Shore’s best cuisine, craft cocktails, cool brews, and fine wines under the stars, along with live music and dancing at this breathtaking mansion and marvelously landscaped grounds overlooking the sea and salt marsh.

Q. How big is the event?
We have 1,500 guests expected with over 50 food and beverage vendors.
Q. What about bad weather?
This is a rain or shine event.
Q. Will I be photographed at the event?
Yes, by entering the event venue, you are authorizing Northshore magazine and our affiliates to potentially include you in photos and video. We will have multiple photographers, videographers, camera crews, and local media onsite. All photos and video are property of Northshore magazine and may be used to promote this and other events in the future.
Q. Is there a minimum age for the BONS event?
Yes, this is a 21+ event, strictly enforced. No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to enter the venue.
Q. Can I buy a ticket at the door?
Tickets will not be available for purchase on-site. You must have a printed ticket or an email/mobile receipt from Eventbrite, along with a valid ID.
Q. I lost/forgot my ticket, what do I do?
Your ticket can be viewed at check-in online through Eventbrite. We will have a list of all paid guests at check-in. Tickets are non-refundable, no exceptions. Or email BONS@nshoremag.com.
Q. Do I need to bring money?
All food, drink, and entertainment is included in the ticket price. However, there will be a silent auction a well as opportunities to become a member of The Trustees. (Cash, check and credit card will be accepted.)
Q. I purchased my tickets. How do I get them?
You will be sent an email receipt via Eventbrite with a bar code. Print out this email and bring it with you to the celebration or show us your phone at check-in. Or you may have opted for it to be send to your mobile phone. We will check you in at the registration table.
Q. What should I wear?
Dress to impress, something fashionable and fun. We encourage women to wear wedge heels or flats. The majority of the event is on the lawn and can make walking with heels more challenging. Bring a sweater or a jacket for later in the evening; the waterfront setting may become cooler throughout the evening.
Q. How early should I get there?
Northshore magazine will have staff, security, and local law enforcement and security assisting to get everyone parked and shuttled to the party as quickly as possible. Winners Reception starts at 5 p.m., VIP doors open at 5:30 p.m, and General Admission doors open at 6 p.m.
Q. What should I bring to the Best of the North Shore Event?
Your ticket, a valid driver’s license, and a sweater or light jacket as the evening will become cooler on the waterfront.
Q. Who can attend the Winners Reception?
Only BONS winners who received an invitation and RSVP’d for the Winners Reception will be admitted. Anyone who won a BONS award and did not RSVP will not be able to attend the Winners Reception.
Q. How can I be part of the action?
BONS is a very social event, and we will be tweeting and posting to Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram throughout the event. We encourage guests to take photos and video and post them, as well, using hashtags promoted at various activation stations. Tag us at any of the following:

Q. What items are not permitted into the event?
Food, alcohol, etc.
Glass bottles, metal cans, etc.
Large bags, large backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc.
RC Drones, remote air units, etc., firearms, fireworks
Please remove or discard of any of the above items prior to entering the event.
We reserve the right to inspect bags upon entry to the property.
