The Misery Island Castaway Tours and the Island Hops Tours, both out of Salem, begin this week. Salem, MA – Essex Heritage this season offers two new public boat tours to Misery Island. Each tour will take a unique look at the history of the Salem Sound islands and their inhabitants. “In addition to our regular trips to Bakers Island Light Station, we are delighted to launch two new boat tours to Misery Island this summer in cooperation with the Trustees of Reservations," said Annie C.
