What are the BONS Wedding Awards?
From cake tastings to dress fittings to venue selections, the wedding planning process can be intimidating! To celebrate the North Shore experts who make wedding dreams a reality, Northshore magazine launched the annual “Best of the North Shore” (BONS) Wedding Awards. The results will be featured in the January/February 2027 issue! We have six categories—attire, beauty, details, menu, setting, and the plan—and 40+ subcategories.
Who can be nominated?
Any commercial business based on the North Shore of Boston specializing in one of our 40+ wedding award subcategories. Only local businesses or locally owned, independent franchises are eligible for a nomination and award. Already on the ballot? Enhance your nomination with more details and a logo. How did you pick your nominees?
There is a $50 processing fee to be added to the ballot. Nominate your business here. Enhance your listing here.
How long is voting open?
Voting begins September 1, 2026 and continues through October 15, 2026. Only one vote per email address is allowed.
How can I promote my win?
If you would like a BONS 2027 Wedding Awards logo, you will need to complete the the licensing agreement and purchase a one-year usage license. This information is sent to all winners.
Can I promote my nomination?
Yes, you may promote your nomination as a BONS Wedding Awards nominee. However, any discounts or special offers in exchange for a vote could result in disqualification. When will I be notified who won?
Winners will be announced in the January/February 2027 issue. There will not be advance winner notification.
