Held at the Mansion at Turner Hill in Ipswich on December 6, Northshore magazine’s Winter Gala celebrated the magazine’s business partners and customers in high holiday style. The choral group Voices of Hope started the evening with a festive medley of Christmas Classics while guests were greeted with a glass of bubbly. Inside, the historic mansion was transformed into a breathtaking winter wonderland—pots of red roses and evergreens designed by Elyse Gaynor of Bella’s Floral Design spilled from shimmering pots, wreaths dressed with shining gold bows hung above the mantels, and a 15-foot tree adorned the library. Vinwood Caterers outdid themselves once again with a raw bar, passed seasonal hors d’oeuvres, and a fondue and hot cocoa station. A jazz band lead by Malcolm Carnwath kept the music flowing freely all night long. A special thanks to Turner Hill’s director of Mansion Club Sales and Events Carol Travers who made the night a smashing success. Photos by Nichole Schrafft
