On December 27, 2016, Kodachrome Memory, a special exhibition of photographs taken in and around Cape Ann in 1978 by Nathan Benn, will go on display at the Cape Ann Museum. The exhibit will feature more than 30 images taken by Benn while on assignment on Boston’s North Shore for National Geographic Magazine. On Saturday, January 7, Benn will speak about his 20-year career as a photographer with the magazine, one of this country’s most beloved and longest-lived publications. The photographs will remain on view through February 19, 2017.
