On Tuesday, April 10, 2012 we will be holding our fourth annual fundraiser to benefit the homes and programs of “Homes of Hope” — L’Arche Irenicon. “Taste of Spring”-restaurant tasting and fundraising auction will be held at the beautiful new Renaissance Golf Club in Haverhill, MA. Voted “Course of the Year for 2012” by the New England Chapter of the National Golf Course Owner’s Association. Last year’s tasting was a huge success; we attracted over 300 local residents who sampled the food of the area’s best restaurants.

“Homes of Hope” –L’Arche Irenicon, has been located in Haverhill for the past 29 years providing lifelong homes for adults with intellectual disabilities. We are part of an international federation of L’Arche communities represented by 135 communities in 35 countries. We are an ecumenical community providing a full life where people with and without disabilities share their lives and live, work and play together. ‘Homes of Hope” celebrates the reality that persons with disabilities possess inherent qualities of welcome, wonderment and friendship.
