Forbes Travel Guide unveiled its annual Star Rating list, naming Deuxave as a new Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Restaurant. Deuxave is the only new restaurant in Boston to receive this prestigious award in 2018. There are only three other four-star restaurants in Boston: Meritage, No. 9 Park and L’Espalier. Menton is a five-star restaurant.

Deuxave is an award-winning modern French restaurant in Boston that is co-owned by Boston Urban Hospitality Group partners chef Chris Coombs and Brian Piccini. With an expansive wine list, a stellar level of service and some of the most inspired and outstanding French cuisine in Boston, Deuxave stands out as a crown jewel in Boston’s dining scene. Located on the corner of two of Boston’s most notable Back Bay avenues, Commonwealth and Massachusetts, Deuxave is open seven days a week for dinner and offers guests a reprieve from reality and takes them on a culinary voyage through France. The upscale and thoughtful menu is designed by Chris Coombs and his talented team, Boston Urban Hospitality executive chef Adrienne Mosier, chef de cuisine Stef Bui and whimsical pastry chef Shaun Velez. Standout dishes include Deuxave’s night moves lobster gnocchi, spiced Long Island duck, and crispy Giannone chicken. Pastry chef Velez’s works of art, such as his vacherin, soufflés, and brulees, dazzle guests.

“Deuxave is so honored to be recognized by Forbes as a four-star restaurant. The Deuxave team works tirelessly every day to make it a special restaurant and we train our staff to be the best that we can be. I am so proud of the entire team that has helped get us these four stars and we are honored to join the ranks of the other prestigious Forbes Four-Star Restaurants in Boston,” said Chris Coombs.

Deuxave is the latest addition to the luxury travel ratings that have been the gold standard in the hospitality industry since 1958. Deuxave will be showcased with all of the star rating recipients on ForbesTravelGuide.com.

“We are pleased to honor the 2018 Star Rating recipients, an exceptional collection of hotels, restaurants, and spas that demonstrates a strong culture of service,” says Gerard J. Inzerillo, CEO of Forbes Travel Guide.

“In an online environment of confusion and clutter, Forbes Travel Guide is the most trusted source of information to assist guests in making informed decisions,” Inzerillo says. “These properties, the largest and most global group in the company’s history, achieve an impeccable standard of excellence in hospitality, underscoring our overall mission of positively contributing to the international tourism industry as well as individual hotel experience. We are proud to congratulate everyone associated with the prestigious properties recognized today.”
