October 21, 2009 – Haverhill MA – The cocktail party celebrating the Soles of Haverhill Saturday night was an absolute success, and the upcoming Gala Auction on October 24th which will conclude the Soles of Haverhill public art initiative looks like it will be even better.
Many people have commented that the streets downtown seem a little empty now that the shoes have been removed. This leaves many residents of Haverhill wondering, “Will any of the shoes remain in Haverhill?” Â Well a group of residents are banding together to make sure at least one stays in town. Â This is an opportunity for anyone to participate in the action and the fun.

There are also still tickets available if you would like to come to the Gala. Â You will need to purchase in advance in order to choose your meal.
