With a diverse selection of restaurants offering romantic specials on Wednesday, February 14, each Valentine’s Day menu will be available a la carte, as well as in addition to each restaurant’s regular dinner menu.

A Parisian bistro nestled in Boston’s South End neighborhood, Aquitaine fully envelops what a date night should be. Romantic yet bustling with energy, this Boston staple offers French cuisine that stands the test of time, and with a new renovation, the ambiance is the ultimate date night backdrop. On Valentine’s Day, enjoy a la carte specials in addition to the regular dinner menu like Labelle Farms Seared Foie Gras with rhubarb confit and hibiscus beet mousseline, Lobster Thermidor Nouvelle with celeriac puree and sauce Américaine, and Bone Marrow Crusted-Ribeye with pommes dauphine, leek fondue and sauce Perigordine.
This Mediterranean café is The Aquitaine Group’s premier location and with its intimate and charming atmosphere, this hidden gem is the quintessential spot to toast to love. Chef de Cuisine Dolly Bourommavong will bring love to life with a la carte specials in addition to the regular dinner menu that include Camembert en Croute with whipped honey, huckleberries, toasted almonds and crostini; Pan Seared Cocoa-Crusted Venison with celeriac puree, haricots verts, roasted mushrooms, and madeira sauce; and Butter Poached Lobster with white chocolate parsnip mousseline, pistachio dukkah spiced fennel, and cippolini.
Step onto the beautifully lit streets of Rome at Cinquecento, a Roman trattoria with Chef de Cuisine Justin Winters at the helm. On Valentine’s Day, guests will enjoy a la carte selections in addition to the regular dinner menu that include Tartara di Tonno with yellowfin tuna tartare, spicy artichoke aioli, grated cucumber, and crostini; Pan Roasted Duck Breast with pioppini mushrooms, olive oil fennel puree, and kumquats; and Banana Torta with dark chocolate and banana torta, banana jam, brown butter crumb, and salted caramel gelato.

Located steps away from Cinquecento, Gaslight is the classic romantic brasserie. With its hand-crafted Parisian zinc bar, reclaimed wood floors, mosaic tiles, beamed wood ceilings, nicotine stained walls and antique mirrors, Gaslight’s decor is what makes this the perfect location for a couple to stop time and savor the moment. Culinary director Michael Zentner brings a la carte specials in addition to the regular dinner menu that include Lobster Vol au Vont with caramelized salsify, Miatake mushrooms, and sauce citron; Rabbit Confit Agnolotti with saffron carrot mousseline, pistachio, and pecorino; Filet Mignon au Poivre with pommes pont neuf, roasted shallots, arrow leaf spinach, and sauce merchande de vin; and Rum Baba with caramelized pears and cognac cream.
This restaurant is the sister to the original Aquitaine Bar á Vin Bistrot, and for those outside the city, this is the perfect suburban location for a romantic Valentine’s Day. A la carte specials are available in addition to the regular dinner menu and include Oyster & Celeriac Bisque with potatoes, fennel, celery, and espelette pepper; and Grass-fed New York Strip with duchess potatoes, jardinière, and sauce Forestier.

The Aquitaine Group has brought the American counterpart of their French original to the North Shore Market Street in Lynnfield. Savor the flavors from chef de cuisine Steven Morlino with a la carte specials in addition to the regular dinner menu that include Lef Farms Arugula Salad with raspberries, pomegranate, celery root, radish, parmesan, and lemon vinaigrette; Lobster Tataki with avocado mousse, caviar ,and Meyer lemon ponzu; and Roasted Venison Loin with whipped potatoes, charred onion, bacon lardons, chanterelles, and port wine sauce.
