On September 13, 2018, the North Shore communities of Lawrence, North Andover, and Andover were affected by a gas main that was over-pressurized, resulting in explosions, injuries, and evacuations. To assist the families and businesses who have been displaced or experienced losses, the proceeds from all new subscriptions or renewals to Northshore magazine from September 14 until the end of the month will be donated to organizations in Lawrence, North Andover, and Andover assisting affected people and businesses.
