Marblehead Chamber of Commerce Welcomes New Chamber Member Wit and Whimsy Children’s Bookstore with Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
On Wednesday, January 26th, the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce welcomed new Chamber member Wit and Whimsy Children’s Bookstore, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at their location, 60 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead. Owner Nancy Oliver welcomed fellow Chamber members, friends and customers to the event, which was well attended and featured refreshments and special discounts for shoppers.
About Wit and Whimsy Children’s Bookstore
Wit and Whimsy is a bookstore solely dedicated to children.  The store has in stock 5,000 books for infants, toddlers, early and intermediate readers and teens/young adults.  Come to the many free monthly events for kids.  Scheduled for February are weekly storytimes for toddlers, Laura Ingalls Wilder’s birthday reading, Valentine’s Origami, a book club discussion of The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan, a celebration of the 100th day of school, and a lantern festival to commemorate Chinese New Year.
