Newburyport Riverfront Music Festival, Newburyport

Standout Qualities: Bring your blankets and chairs and grab a spot early—this yearly festival, sponsored by local radio station 92.5 The River and featuring a terrific mix of up-and-coming and legendary rock acts, has been packing Newburyport’s Waterfront Park every Labor Day weekend for going on 16 years. Last year, Big Head Todd & the Monsters headlined this free festival, along with Kaleo, The Revivalists, Rhett Miller, and Air Traffic Controller.
