On February 8, 2010, 6 o'clock at Bass River Tennis Club, Beverly Bootstraps Community Services will be hosting a 'Bootstraps Best Chef' Competition that will look much like the Iron Chef competitions seen on TV. The event will be held at Bass River Tennis Club and Billy Costa will serve as the Master of Ceremonies. The event will be spotlighted on Billy's show, TV Diner on NECN.Four local, chef-owned restaurants will compete chef to chef in a cook-off using 75% Bootstraps Community Services food pantry ingredients and 25% of their kitchen ingredients. Prior to the event chefs will shop at the Beverly Bootstraps Community Services food pantry
