At INTERLOCKS Salon + Spa in Newburyport, quality is synonymous with everything they do. The salon’s reputation for providing high levels of service often precedes them (and with good reason). With a curated team of hair and skincare professionals at the top of their game, thirty years in the hair and beauty industry and a host of accolades, including being named one of the Top 200 salons in America by Salon Today (again!), it’s not hard to see why INTERLOCKS is a name so many on the north shore turn to when they want to look and feel their best. The INTERLOCKS MedSpa is, in large part, the result of client requests. Clients who had come to know and trust the INTERLOCKS brand were searching for a place to go for medical grade skincare treatments, laser services and injectables. Since opening one year ago, the MedSpa has quickly earned a reputation as a cutting-edge leader in effective and safe skincare treatments, boasting the same commitments to customer service, community and education as their signature salon. Owner and Creative Director Ginny Eramo was absolutely adamant about building the ideal MedSpa from the ground up. Everything, from the team to the services offered to the location had to be top level. The location was step one and couldn’t be more convenient; the MedSpa islocated next to the existing INTERLOCKS salon in historic Newburyport. From state of the art laser equipment to medical grade product lines including Environ Skin Care and Allergan injectables, the MedSpa’s philosophy puts expertise and quality above all else. Not only does everyone on staff have years of experience, they share a passion for their work. A service will never be performed without regard for your skin type, medical history and desired outcomes. From Laser Hair Removal to Photofacials, IPL, Laser Genesis, Vascular Therapy, Microblading and more, every treatment is given a high level of careful consideration and thought. Eramo had no qualms about taking her time in selecting the team, a search that led her to the MedSpa’s Medical Director, Dr. Raffi der Sarkissian, MD, FACS, a double board certified facial plastic surgeon focusing on the face and neck. Dr. D is the former Chief of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Boston Medical Center and currently serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Facial Plastic Surgery at Boston University’s School of Medicine. Maria Gagliardi, BSN, RN, CANS, is the MedSpa’s Registered Nurse, Clinical Aesthetician, Director of Laser Services, and Nurse Injector who specializes in non-surgical facial rejuvenation. Gagliardi is joined by Kathleen Serio, BSN, RN, a nurse injector with 16 years of experience as a skilled cosmetic injector and as a specialist in non-surgical facial rejuvenation techniques. The team is completed with Jennifer Oliveri, a licensed and certified Electrologist, Laser Hair Removal Technician and Medical Assistant, and Emma Belitsky, a licensed and certified microblading artist.
