RN Esthetics is not your run-of-the-mill medical spa, but it is about to expand in a new, more limited form. The well-regarded brand will be opening a third location in the Tannery Marketplace in Newburyport later this year. With a rich history as a historic mill site, this new location will serve as a complement to the brand’s existing practices in Lynnfield and Salem. The Tannery, a popular destination for shopping, dining, and more, is a natural fit for what RN Esthetics is looking to do—namely, not become a “chain” or expand beyond this third location. This smaller “satellite studio” is a direct result of client requests for a presence in the area, and the Tannery made perfect sense given the host of small shops in residence there, including several simpatico businesses specializing in health, beauty, and wellness. Co-owner Michelle Doran explains that the space is “a huge part of why we opted to open a satellite location—to really bring our business model and skills to the area. We’re not looking to offer everything in this new location, but rather focus on some of the things that people would like to have in their backyard rather than drive for.” Co-owner Linda Vecchione says, “When we started a little over six years ago, we knew we were on the upward trend in the billion-dollar aesthetics industry. Our philosophy was simple: We wanted to stand out from other ‘med spas’ by being a medical practice that specializes in medical esthetics.” And she’s right; RN Esthetics’ team of skilled professionals is one of the biggest reasons clients are drawn to their practice. Recognized as an Allergan top 1 percent provider of Botox and fillers in the United States, RN Esthetics is respected for its professionalism and commitment to providing the best in service, technology, and products—and for their policy of not accepting gratuity. The new location is likely to open in late fall or early winter of this year and will focus on skin treatments including consultations, injectables, and customized skincare peels, as well as HydraFacials and Vampire facials. As is customary for their practice, all services will be administered by nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and master estheticians. Clients wanting to continue a high-quality skincare routine at home will be able to choose from medical-grade skincare lines available for purchase from a retail center within the location. “We all work as a team and work really hard to give clients an opportunity to meet everyone in the practice, so that they are comfortable seeing any one of us for their treatment,” explains Vecchione. This makes sense for a brand where client service drives all things, from services offered to appointment times. “We strive to give clients the best services on a convenient day and time for them,” says Vecchione. We are sure to experience the same outstanding results we’ve come to expect from RN Esthetics—just more of them, in the heart of historic Newburyport with the new location. Sounds like a win-win-win. rnestheticsandlaser.com   Pictured above: co-owners Linda Vecchione and Michelle Doran.
