Bridgewell Names Samuel R. Hoff to Board of Directors

An associate in Pierce & Mandell, P.C.’s Health Law practice, Hoff will serve on Bridgewell’s Development and Marketing committee, effective immediately.

Bridgewell, a nonprofit that provides social and human services that empower people with disabilities and other life challenges to live safe, self-directed and productive lives, today announced the appointment of Samuel R. Hoff, an associate in Pierce & Mandell, P.C.’s Health Law practice, as a member of its board of directors, effective immediately. At Bridgewell, Hoff will serve on the Development and Marketing committee.

Martin, president and CEO of Bridgewell. “Sam’s experience representing multiple healthcare providers, as well as his expertise in compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations makes him an invaluable asset to our team as we head into 2018.”

At Pierce & Mandell, P.C., Hoff advises healthcare providers, including community hospitals, physician clinics, hospital networks, nursing homes and dental practices on Medicare and insurance reimbursement. He also provides counsel on state and federal healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and anti-kickback laws. Previously, Hoff served as an operations associate for private investment firm Partners Capital, LLC, and volunteered as event committee chairman for the Boston Mayflower Foundation, a public charity devoted to disadvantaged Boston children. Hoff holds a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and is a member of the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations.

“Through his diverse professional background in health law, and as a civil litigator, Sam will support Bridgewell’s continued advancement as an industry leader in social and human services,” said Robin Sutherland, chair of Bridgewell’s board of directors.
